SAN is an optional feature used for Unified Communications (UC) to secure Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server, Office Communications Server 2007 or Mobile Device Manager as well as server names, intranet and local names.

- Servers in their Intranet by name (example "server.local" or "faxtool")
- Hostnames (example - mailserver)

Pricing for SAN SSL Certificates SAN SSL Certificate costs are calculated by the base cost of the SSL Certificate plus a fee for each additional domain included in the SAN field.
